Lindsay Lovlien (she/her/hers): Originally from Bend, Oregon, Lindsay leads statewide advocacy work at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, promoting policies that improve education from preschool through college. She served in Washington, D.C., as education policy advisor for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, and fondly remembers the women’s book club that she was in for 14 years in D.C. – both The Red Tent and Atonement have stuck with her as favorites. She has a B.A. from the University of Washington.
